Deep linking to the Record360 Dashboard

Record360 inter-app communication, the ability to launch the Record360 mobile app, unlocks new doors for mobile app developers to support various cross-app use cases between Record360 and business systems, consumer tools, or proprietary apps.

Deep links are a great way to streamline multi-app business processes, so your users can easily swap between applications to complete their relevant tasks. For example, link from a contract or repair order in your DMS or RMS to an Inspection in the Record360 web dashboard, or link from a Unit record in your ERP to its inspeciton history in Record360.

Link to a Unit's Inspection History

You can create deep links to view unit inspection history in the Record360 web dashboard. Units support two types of persistent links: one using the Record360 id and another using the unit's reference number.

Both formats resolve to the same inspection history view, allowing external systems to easily link into Record360 without needing to learn or maintain Record360's database ids.

How to choose?

• Record360 id: Use this if your system already stores Record360's ids, or you want the fastest, most reliable experience.
• Reference number: Use this if you already have the reference number value in your system and want to avoid storing Record360 ids.

Using Record360 Unit id

Use the unit id in the URL path:

https://dashboard.record360.com/dashboard/units/1235161017

Using Reference Number

Use the unit's reference number by replacing the database id with an underscore followed by the reference number:

https://dashboard.record360.com/dashboard/units/_ABN832

Link to an Inspection

You can link to a specific inspection in the Record360 web dashboard by using the inspection id.

Use the inspection id in the URL path:

https://dashboard.record360.com/dashboard/inspections/1231651170

Pass-through Authentication

Similar to mobile deep links, you can pass an authentication token in the dashboard url to automatically sign a user in. The auth token can be generated via a sign-in API request on API.
