Record360 Mobile SDK
Wrap Record360's best-in-class inspection experience within your own mobile app.
Why use it?
With our Android & iOS SDKs, partners or professional plan customers can embed the Record360 inspection tools within an existing mobile application. This is ideal if you already have a mobile solution for your workforce or customers and want to keep them within a singular experience.
As an easier alternative, we also offer Deep Link support within Android and iOS.
When to use it?
The mobile SDK enables developers to trigger Record360 to open within their app, providing a continuous user experience. This is beneficial for those who want to keep their users in a 1-app experience. For example,
- Software partners who want to adopt Record360's best-in-class technology.
- Customers that have their own mobile apps (or dealers that have dealer-specific apps).

- Launch fully featured and self-contained inspection experience.
- Keep track of uploads (handled by the SDK) and receive completion notifications and related results
- Pass-through critical data to create a seamless and automatic experience for the user and push them straight to a checklist or camera.
- Authentication or user credentials
- Unit reference number
- Workflow and Department selections
- Pass inspection data into the forms, like unit, work order, or contract information.
- Read inspection results, enabling more powerful integration points such as identifying fuel-, hours-, or mileage-type fields.
Recent Updates
- Now allows for
fieldDatato be added vialaunchRefCapfunction, keys should match titles of fields and their value will be mapped into inspections - iOS now provides progress percent complete for uploads (android also has
percentCompletealong with the already returnedprogressBytes/totalBytes). onInspectionUploadedwill now return the V3 inspection response. This matches the output from our V3 webhooks and is generally better suited for integrations
Implementation
This integration typically takes a few weeks to setup. While our SDK is well-documented, it requires a technical person(s) prepared to integrate it into their mobile app(s). Find the SDK reference and more developer details on Github.
